Privacy policy

This policy explains what Revtrace collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers two groups: shops (the home-service businesses we work for) and homeowners (the shops' customers, whom we message on a shop's behalf).
Who we are
This website and service are run by Anshul Jha, doing business as Revtrace. Questions about this policy: aj@revtrace.pro.
What we collect from shops
- Form details: your name, shop name, email and/or mobile number, and the software you use.
- Files you upload: your open estimates or quotes, which usually include homeowner names, phone numbers, emails, amounts, statuses and dates.
- Messages you send us by email or text.
How we use it
- To prepare your free report.
- To contact you about the report.
- If you sign up: to follow up with your homeowners in your shop's name, send hot replies to you, and work out fees on jobs that sign.
Your customers stay your customers: we only use their details to work on your estimates, in your shop's name.
Homeowner information
- What we hold: the homeowner's name, mobile number, email and estimate details that the shop gives us, the replies the homeowner sends, and records of their consent and any opt-out.
- We use homeowner information only to follow up about the estimate the homeowner got from that shop, on that shop's behalf and in its name.
- Any opt-out (STOP, unsubscribe, or a plain request) stops all texts and emails from that shop to that homeowner, right away.
- We never sell homeowner information, and we never share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers we use
- Tally hosts the report request form and stores the files you upload until we delete them.
- Text and email sending providers, for shops that sign up. They send messages for us and may not use the information for anything else.
Text messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We use mobile numbers only for the texts described in this policy: follow-ups to homeowners about a shop's estimate, in that shop's name, and report updates and alerts to shops. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS terms.
How long we keep it
If you don't sign up, we delete your uploaded file after 30 days. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
If your shop signs up, we keep your estimate and message records while we work together, and after that only as long as we need them for billing and legal records.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold and limit who can access it. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at aj@revtrace.pro. We answer these requests no matter which state you live in.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
